Here is the recipe for Kris' yummy dessert.
Upside – Down Berry Cake
½ cup chopped walnuts
1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
1 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
1 cup fresh or frozen sliced strawberries
(or a bag of mixed frozen berries, thawed)
¾ cup sugar
1 3 oz. pkg raspberry jello
1 ½ cup mini marshmellows
1 yellow cake mix
2 eggs
1 ¼ cup water
2 T canola oil
In a greased 13x9 pan, layer the walnuts and berries, sprinkle with sugar, jello and marshmellows. In a large bowl, combine cake mix, eggs, water and oil, beat on low speed 30 seconds, then beat on medium for 2 minutes. Pour over the berry mixture.
Bake 350’ for 30-35 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 5 minutes before inverting onto a serving platter. Top with whipped cream.
